NAI Emory Hill Facilitates Sale of 42,000 SF Fort DuPont Building to Delaware NeuroRehab
NAI Emory Hill’s Massiel Derefaka and Neil Kilian, CCIM,SIOR, represented Fort DuPont in the sale of the historic Tilton Building at Fort DuPont in Delaware City to Delaware NeuroRehab. The 42,000-square-foot property will be transformed into Delaware’s first comprehensive post-acute inpatient brain injury rehabilitation center.
The planned 28-bed facility will serve patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological disorders, and other acquired brain injuries.
Renovations are expected to begin soon, with an opening planned for 2027. The project is also expected to create more than 60 healthcare and support positions.
