Robert H. Hill, Partner

In 1981, Bob Hill joined with Clay Emory to establish Emory Hill & Company and founded Emory Hill Real Estate Services, Inc. in 1983.  Bob serves as President of Emory Hill & Company and Vice President of Emory Hill Real Estate Services, Inc.

Bob is the immediate past President of the University & Whist Club, President of the Arnold Fish and Game Preserve in Quebec, Canada, and Board Member and former President of the Delaware Contractors Association. He is a Board Member of Leadership Delaware and a member of both the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and the Commercial-Industrial Realty Council. He is also a member of the Tuscarora Club and the Chester River Yacht and Country Club. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Wellness Community of Delaware, the Committee of 100, and Associated Builders and Contractors.

Bob is a graduate of the University of Delaware and served as an Infantry Officer in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970.

Carmen J. Facciolo, Jr., Partner

Carmen Facciolo, who became an Emory Hill partner in 1983, is the Director of NAI Emory Hill and President of Emory Hill Real Estate Services, Inc. and Vice President of Emory Hill & Company, the construction division.

Carmen’s extensive knowledge of the sales and leasing of industrial and commercial real estate and his experience in construction and development are supported by his previous positions with the Jackson Cross Company and Facciolo Construction. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors of the Commercial-Industrial Realty Council, and member of the Board of Directors for the Mary Campbell Center, where he also serves on the golf committee for the prestigious annual Charmie Welch Open golf fundraiser.

Carmen is a graduate of Widener University where he earned both a BA in Political Science with a Minor in Business and MBA degree. He is a licensed real estate agent and broker of record in Delaware and New Jersey.

Neil Kilian, Prinicipal, CCIM, SIOR – Director of Brokerage

As the head of NAI Emory Hill’s commercial brokerage division, Neil oversees a team of 12 brokers and agents. As a licensed broker himself, Neil focuses on leasing, managing and marketing Class A & B office, industrial, retail and flex properties, locally, regionally and nationally and has been with NAI Emory Hill since 1998. Neil also handles investment sales, site selection, land development, bankruptcy, and receivership clients. Prior to joining NAI Emory Hill, Neil worked for MBNA America. He has specialized in landlord representation for over 60 buildings totaling in excess of five million square feet in the Tristate area.  He is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, and is a Board Member of the New Castle County (DE) Chamber of Commerce.

Clayton Hill, Principal, CCIM, CPM  – Director of Property Management

Clayton joined NAI Emory Hill’s commercial brokerage department in early 2004 bringing with him experience in the commercial mortgage brokerage and institutional investment industries.  He joined the Property Management Division in 2009 and was named Director of Property Management in early 2010. He earned his Bachelor Degree at Colgate University (Economics, with honors) and Masters Degree at Johns Hopkins University (Commercial Real Estate Investment). Prior to joining Emory Hill in early 2004, Clay worked in Washington, D.C. as an analyst for Walker and Dunlop in commercial mortgage brokerage and as analyst for the CIM Group in opportunistic real estate pension fund investments where he earned his graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. He currently serves as the Director of Property Management overseeing a team of Commercial Property Managers, as well as all aspects of management for a portfolio exceeding four million square feet of commercial real estate and approximately a thousand residential units.  In addition, Clay’s responsibilities include receivership work and investment and lease analysis for the internal portfolio and third party clients.  He is a 14-time marathoner,  an executive board member of the Delaware Chapter of the American Diabetes Association and is on the planning committee for the annual Tour de Cure bike race held in Newark each spring.

Brad Kellmyer – Director of Construction

Brad Kellmyer has over 30 years of construction experience and joined Emory Hill & Company in 1998 as a superintendent, performing daily tasks of jobsite coordination, ordering materials, and supervising multiple subcontractors.  Brad held this position for 14 years and was then promoted to Project Manager, making the move from the field to the office. Since then Brad has project managed several office renovations, tenant fit-outs, school expansions and renovations, and numerous projects consisting of clean rooms and laboratories. He then was promoted again to Director of Construction in 2015 and now oversees the entire construction department and staff.  He has completed hundreds of projects for Emory Hill & Company. Some of his most notable projects have been renovating a historic bank for the Delaware State Bar Association, the construction of several Goodwill stores, a data center for AIG Insurance, multiple projects for First USA, Morgan Stanley, CSC Little Falls, and the Shoppes of Louviers Phases I and II. In addition to running the construction department, Brad still continues to project manage jobs on a daily basis and has served as jobsite superintendent for such jobs as Friends School Library and a recent 12,000 square foot addition for Las Americas Aspira Academy.

Jesse Swartzentruber – Director of Maintenance

Jesse joined the Emory Hill team in January, 2005 in the maintenance division. As the head of Maintenance, he oversees a staff of approximately 20, working closely with property managers and building owners as well as maintenance technicians and third party vendors, making sure each customer receives quality service at a fair price. Jesse was born into an Amish/Mennonite family where  he followed in his father’s footsteps as a third generation builder following high school and has worked in the construction and real estate field ever since. Jesse is a lifetime member of Klemmer and Associates, a national leadership training institute for major corporations.

Buddy West – Director of Emory Hill Residential

Buddy has 25 years of experience in residential real estate throughout Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.  His sales exceed $200 million and he is involved in many other aspects of the business.  Buddy hosted a one-hour live radio show entitled “Real Estate Talk” on CBS radio for ten years.  During that time, with his wife Betsy, he wrote a weekly newspaper column entitled “The Right Direction.”  His media contributions continue with his work as a regular news authority on local TV. Buddy is a senior instructor on the Howard Brinton Star Power faculty.  In 1998, he became Director of Education for the Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES) and he teaches nationally on the subject of real estate for seniors.  He has been a featured speaker at several  National Association of Realtor’s annual conventions as well as many state conventions.  He speaks frequently for franchises, independent companies and Boards of Realtors.  He has developed class curriculums for Fair Housing and Ethics for Realtors and he hosts First Time Homebuyer, Investor, and Over 55 seminars throughout Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.  In 1995, he co-authored a book, “Targeting The Over 55 Client” with his wife Betsy and John Tuccillo. He has also served as the Director of Special Olympics in Delaware and a host at their annual Polar Bear Plunge.
